Welcome to the history of the Butler County Country Club

W.C. "Bill" Jackson is the verified architect, who 100 years ago, in 1923, designed and laid out the 18-hole golf course for the Butler County Country Club, known today as the Red and White courses of the Hamilton Elks Golf Club.

 

This site is dedicated to the memory and accomplishments of

William Congreve Jackson, whose architectural, design and 

engineering skills allowed him to lay out many golf courses

during the golden age of golf design.
